Amy Lin

Amy has been an integral part of the Formosa Foundation since its inception and serves as the Foundations Program Director. Under her direction, the Ambassador Program was launched in 2003 and has become the Foundation’s flagship program.

Prior to working for the Foundation full-time, Amy was the executive assistant to Foundation’s founder Li-Pei Wu at GBC Bancorp and subsidiary General Bank. Amy served on the board of the Los Angeles Chapter of Taiwanese American Citizens League between 1991 and 1995. TACL’s flagship program, the Summer Political Internship Program, was designed by Amy and launched in 1992. Amy was one of the founding members of the Taiwanese American Professional (TAP), a division of TACL dedicated to second generation Taiwanese American professionals.

Amy immigrated to the United States with her family when she was 12, and is fluent in Taiwanese and Mandarin. Amy graduated from the University of California, IIrvine, majoring in Psychology and Economics.
