Eugene Wu
Eugene(Gene) Wu is a co-founder and managing partner of a professional angel investment fund called NextLevel Management focused on providing investment capital to early stage technology companies. Prior to NextLevel, Gene was the industry head of the West Coast Investment Banking Group for CIBC World Markets (formerly Oppenheimer & Co., Inc.). Gene graduated from the University of California at San Diego with a BA in quantitative economics and the University of Chicago with an MBA in finance. While at the University of Chicago, he founded Asian American Business, an organization which provided a forum for Asian American students to develop and foster relationships within and outside the university. From 1992 to 1993 Gene served on the Board of the New York Chapter of the Taiwanese American Citizens League, an organization focused on enhancing the quality of life for Taiwanese Americans and promoting a strong Taiwanese American community in the United States. |
